Whitney DeBerry Wins a Gold Stevie® Award for Women in Business
Seattle, WA – Nov. 17 – Whitney DeBerry, Project Manager for Tresemer Group of Kirkland, WA, won a Gold Stevie® Award for Women in Business. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards are hailed as the world’s premier business awards. The 2018 awards were announced at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York on Friday, November 16.
Finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on five juries. Their scores then determined the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements revealed at last night’s 15th Annual Awards dinner and presentations in New York. Those determinations placed Ms. DeBerry as one of six international category finalists for employee of the year and ultimately, a Gold winner.
Whitney DeBerry is a key component of Tresemer Group’s success, and key to its growth in the past year. As a young project manager, she has helped keep the company’s growth line steep by organizing each team member around appropriate priorities. Michelle Tresemer, Owner and CEO of Tresemer Group, a digital marketing firm, calls Whitney her ‘right-hand catalyst for growth.’ “Whitney manages up, all the while remaining true to her own principles and Tresemer Group’s ethics. She pushes when she should push and pulls me back when I need more balance.”
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business celebrate the achievements of working women around the world. Michelle Tresemer says that “for a woman-owned business to have a young woman on board with such promise get recognition and encouragement at an early stage in her career is simply wonderful. We count ourselves lucky to have Whitney on our team.”
